RiffTrax: Wednesday July 25

A little late notice.......but tonight will be the oh-so-pathetic "Star Wars: Episode 1: The Phantom Menace."

[plus an added surprise for AdamHamilton, teehee...]

HOWEVER......next week, despite the release of 'Hot Fuzz' on DVD, there is also another movie coming out that is the RiffTrax 1 year anniversary release, that I will be picking up as well: '300'!!!!!

Yes.......they are riffing '300' next week, and I'm excited. I personally liked the movie, so it's gonna be fun to hear their take on it.

It's actually July 31st, but still:

Snot

I'm sickies. Almost didn't make it through the night...but then I got up at 3am and drank water and blew my nose.

Uh-oh...I'm poopies now.....gotta go.


UPDATE: FYI....the poopies is non-related to the sickies. It was just the result of 2 cups of coffee and 2 smokes.

So there....I'm not evacuating my body cavities uncontrollably, only tyring to expectorate my sinuses.

Just a head cold.

Another RiffTrax Nite.....

....was hellacious.

We didn't watch 'Crossroads' as planned, b/c the disc was too scratched to even play [NOTE: DO NOT rent 'Crossroads' from MovieTyme in Bruce. DO NOT rent 'Crossroads' ANYWHERE!].

So, instead we watched 'Battlefield Earth.' Major suck fest. I almost vomited.
Even with the RiffTrax it was an almost unbearable 2 hours. YES.....it was 2 hours!!! Of nothing but bad acting.

Anyway....scheduled for next week is 'Road House.' After that, we will be out of movies that we actually own, so we will have to resort to renting. Therefore, I'll update next week what the film will be.

Well, update as in I think it's the first. I should have sooner so that way if anyone else ever wants to join in they can.
