HOT HOT HOT

So lately I've been setting off my smoke alarm with my shower.

Are those things triggered by smoke-like substances or by heat?

Just wondering....I've been trying to take less-as-hot showers which don't produce much steam nor heat.

It's just ticking me off b/c I've been having to step out of the shower mid-shampoo and unplug the battery. Really annoying.

It Puts The Lotion On It's Skin?

So, I can admit that I've never seen 'Silence Of The Lambs', but after watching 'Clerks 2' last night I decided to download the song "Goodbye Horses"---which is used in the movie as a tribute to 'Silence' in which Jay mimics the twisted actions of Buffalo Bill by tucking his junk between his legs and dances to the song.

I'm just kind of curious if I could do that now and get away with it.

Well, I could b/c I live alone, but my junk doesn't really hang that low so it makes it uncomfortable to ....tuck.

I'll just listen to the song and think about it for now.

Oh well, I guess now I really should watch the movie. I heard it was kind of a big deal.

----

On a related note I watched "Being John Malkovich" tonight. Turns out Charlie Kaufman wrote it.

Still, I would have traded Michel Gondry for Spike Jonze directing it, but that's just me. I think he tried to rip off Michel a time or two....but still a very nicely twisted flick.

"Hey Malkovich, THINK FAST!"

Oh, and "My spunk is like manna from Heaven"

Well, let's see about a little update on my life right now, for non-updating's sakes:

----

I'm possibly (although trivial to some other people's problems) going through a difficult phase right now. You see...I'm trying to quit smoking [not for good, just not gonna buy my own anymore---socially it's still ok] right now, but I'm also at a major crossroad: I'm also tyring to lose weight. Or, at least my spare tire/freshman 15/beer gut. I've always heard that when people stop smoking they gain alot of weight. I can see how that's true b/c smoking kinda gives you something to do besides eat. On those one or two nights last week I actually didn't have a smoke, I found myself craving food. Snacks. Chocolate, mostly. I guess it's just the need to put stuff in your mouth that drives humans to poor health. Luckily for me I have cleansed my house of 'snacks' with the exception of cereal, but my milk has been spoiled for over a week and I haven't bought more. Boy, it sure does smell bad in there.

So, possibly by this time next week I will be rid of the curse, and on my way to slimming up so I can get rid of those fatty grunts I make when getting out of the car/picking up a pencil/etc.

------

I'm not discouraging anyone from coming over, but I now have a recliner....so my couch will be out of commission until spring due to it's wide ass sitting too close to my heater. Sorry folks, but heat superceeds feng shui.

Not to worry, I may shop for some kind of futon next week, so no one has to use folding chairs all winter.

But, then I'll own a futon. (shudders)

-------

I'm on the brink of insanity I think b/c recently I've ordered a bulk set of DVD cases that hold anywhere from 2—6 discs...but still take up the same amount of space as a standard case.

This means that I've been combining lots of my DVD collection to fit more in the space allotted without going and buying another shelf. For example, I've put all six Star Wars films into one case, 14 Monty Pythons Discs into 4 cases, two Wayne's World movies into one case, and so own. It does work nice for movies that you can just consider one big collection. All 5 Rocky movies are now in one case with the simple 'Rocky' cover.

It works for me.

-------

I know it's kinda what everyone else is saying, and has been overly hyped, but after seeing the Michael "Kramer" Richards incident....I find it really weird to watch him on the show now.

I don't know....something like that isn't really easy to put out of your mind--but I don't know if it should affect watching a performance on such a beautiful show.

2 Big Things (Almost Literally)

First of all:
So, if you ever checked it out...on my YouTube page (http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=dancingdale) I had a video of me dancing with the Oxford Charger mascot, set to the tune 'My Lovely Horse' from the BBC show 'Father Ted.'

Well, due to copyright infringement it was deleted!!!!!!!!!

Sheesz...I mean if THAT was copyright infringement then by morning tomorrow there will be like 4 videos left on all of YouTube.

Second of all:
I think I just took the biggest crap of my life in Tupelo WalMart.

I've been taking this stuff from GNC that's supposed to cleanse your colon (for better health...with a benefit of weight loss due to eliminating impacted fecal matter [that could eventually cause cancer]). Well, nothing really major happened last week, as AFTER buying the stuff I found out it wasn't really good compared to other products.

Well, tonight--one night after the 'colon flush' phase--I had to take a crap in WalMart...and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. But when I went to zip up and flush, my eyes beheld the biggest loaf mine eyes have ever seen. I'm talking from the hole where everything goes up into the bowl. If I had my measuring tape handy....hands-down over a foot long.

Well, sorry but I just had to share.
