What A Difference......

...a night off makes. I got alot done at work and attempting to clean this filthy house.

---First of all.......Last night I had a back-to-school-dream. I was in a certain bitchy teacher's class.....and it was my turn to read/discuss the next mathish problem, but when I tried too.....the page was missing. I couldn't find it, and everyone was mad at me it felt like. You know...you can feel those eyes on you. Class was over and I was still looking all over the room to find the missing page before someone cleaned the room up. So, as I sit there this morning I did a quick search, and I don't know if this is accurate, but this is just the first thing I found:

"Curiously, back to school dreams do not reflect a desire to return to school, nor do they reflect emotional trauma from our school years. Instead, the dreams reflect challenges in our current life—usually in a career or social context—about whether or not we will “graduate to the next level.” What’s the connection? The pressure we feel today reminds us of how we used to feel back in high school or college before we took an exam: nervous, and wondering if we will “make the grade.”

Back to school dreams occur when we are stressed about completing a project at work, for example, or if we are switching careers, experiencing money problems, or are trying to “graduate” to a new position in our romantic lives....Back to school dreams let us know that we are feeling uncertain of our ability to “graduate to the next level” in our lives, but they also are reminders of the goals we value and accomplishments we seek to achieve. Your dreams reflect a desire to advance in your career, and also to demonstrate your success and independence to your parents. If you continue to pursue your own definition of success (and not your parents’) these dreams gradually will recede, like a long forgotten mid-term exam!"

WOW.....that could be dead-on. For reasons even too personal to blab about here.

So yeah...I did get some stuff accomplished last night, and I guess it made me proud, but I do have to go to work in a little while to get everything ready for tonight. I hope it doesn't take more than a couple of hours...but the good thing is that I'm not rushed to leave by 4o'clock b/c I'm doing the game in Bruce. But I have to take care of EVERYONE ELSE's equipment (except for AdamG, he's supposed to get his own together) that don't know how/aren't able to get their stuff together.

Maybe I should give a class where I instruct all the sports people how to pre-finish out tapes....check over their equipment....and make sure they have everything. Oh, and I guess give them a key too.

Here's to movin' on, movin' on.

Oh, also....the people that were supposed to come to the station Saturday cancelled.....so looks like I'm gonna be ok. I still have to have another productive weekend like a few weeks ago where I can get some more progress done on the StudioCleanUp.
