Here I sit broken hearted; came to post but only........went blank.
-------
The Wachowski Brothers (The Matrix Trilogy) made the movie "V For Vendetta." They have got serious balls.

It's so weird how the movie is so well timed with things that have been happening....especially in the past few days locally. Big Brother is upon us, so to speak (or newspeak, I should say). Actually, funny note: The guy who plays the president/Hitler type guy in the movie actually played Winston in the 1984 film "Nineteen Eighty-Four", based on the book.....about, well you should know what 1984 is about.

In local news Starkville just passed a smoking ban on all places of business. They actually did this the very night I was in the theater watching "V For Vendetta." The next day when I heard about it on the radio, I wanted re-enact scenes from the movie. I was getting upset about the (JT & Dave's favorite term) 'Shadow Government.'

Still, a great movie and I would recommend everyone go see it, whatever your view of politics and government is. Even though....30 years in the future they still have DELL 15" Flat-screen LCD monitors. You would think computer monitors would be like plates of glass with just the image. But no......they just ordered a few monitors from DELL rather than make a new set prop. But that's just me.

Also.....freaking Antony And The Johnsons and Cat Power were heard in the movie. It was awesome!

Wikipedia is freaking amazing. I may one day become culturally educated. Anytime I have a question about who/what someone/something is....I'll just look it up, read and learn.
----------

Big news coming soon.....I HOPE! Sorry to tease, but I fear that by telling too many people and bragging too much, it won't happen.

But it does concern me 'making it on my own' a la Mary Tyler Moore. I'm gonna throw my hat in the air, too.

Well, it's been twenty minutes since I started the post (got to reading Wikipedia), and have forgotten the other topics for tonight. But I will return soon, hopefully with something entertaining.
