BlackPeopleMeet.com

++I must begin by stating that this weekend was to be a Triple-Feature, but due to the fact that there is one more theater in Columbus that I didn't know about, I was unable to see "Grizzly Man" as planned. 20 minute drive wasted. Next time, I check Street Addresses.++

Wallace & Gromit: The Curse Of The WereRabbit - was absolutely wonderful. If I were to say I went in expecting it to greatly suck, I would then say that I left the theater very dissappointed. (sorry....I've been listening to more Douglas Adams lately so I'm trying to do that doublespeak thing) Luckily I brought Joel and Carli along, and Joel was laughing at all the same bits as me. There's just something so cute and rib-tickling about 50 bunnines being sucked into their little burrows, and then all floating around in a glass trap like one of those 'money grab' things. If there were ever a claymation creature I would marry, it would be Gromit. Such a brave little chap. I don't understand why just now, about ten years after they first came on the scene, they get their own movie. But, I can only hope for many more feature-length films, or at least a handful more shorts. Until then, I'll relish in the fabulousness of all things Wallace & Gromit.

I had absolutely no intention of ever watching Two For The Money, but now I'm really glad Bradley suggested it. (and 'Lord Of War' wasn't playing) I'm only now beginning to even understand sports, and I know even less about sports betting/gambling, so I expected to most likely not enjoy this movie. But, I got into this movie. Mostly b/c Matthew McConahey was shirtless 50% of the time, but still. It also starred Al Pacino and Rene Russo. I can't really say much besides it was a movie about sports betting and it was a drama......b/c that's about it. But, I did enjoy it, I guess you can take my word for it. It ended up having a good story and love triangle and things.
---------
From iTunes I downloaded the Hithhiker's Guide Tertiary, Quandry, and Quintissential Phases--which are based on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th books--and have just finished the Tertiary Phase. I have to say that honestly, the third book kind of bored me, what with the Krikit Robots and the Starship Italian Bistro (the only thing semi-entertaining thing was Arthur Dent learning to fly, and the Party That Never Ended bit), and this radio adaptation just didn't hold the same feeling that the original did when it made me get into The Guide. But I will listen to the next two b/c the story kind of picks up some...plus I just want to hear it, and I guess I have to seeing as how I downloaded it. A bit hasty of me, really.

This week I look forward to being properly smashed.

Well, as jerkhole retards say at the end of their speeches in 'Public Speaking' class: "That's just about it." [shrugs at teacher]

How the fuck did you get home at 6:44?

When I left at 2:30 you only had one hour to go.......and I know you can make the pontotoc drive in less than 20 minutes........so you should have been home 4, 4:30, tops.

Sucks for you.
