Wow.....that was a bit weird, huh?

Ok here's what happened (as if I were NOT going to tell):

So my brother's 10-year high school reunion was tonight, but obviously he couldn't go b/c there's a little skirmish in the mid-east right now, and he's having to help with that. So one of his friends called today and wanted to come by and pick up any pics we had of him over there just to take so he could still 'go to the reunion' or whatever.

So the dude comes in (btw....it's the "He took my boat" guy from Ultra Run 2) and has to wait for me to print out the pics. So he's standing in my room looking over my collection, and we are totally talking about movies. He actually knew what "Osama" was. He saw Marvin on my desktop and said "I see you have Marvin on your desktop. He has 1.) LISTENED to the Hitchhiker's Guide, 2.) READ at least the first book and 3.) SAW the movie, and agreed that it was really dumbed down and Americanized. He loved 'Batman Begins', enjoyed 'War Of The Worlds' until the end, hated 'The Forgotten', and wanted to know if 'Donnie Darko' would really blow his mind.

There's alot more, but I just thought it was neat that we had similar (and decent) tastes in movies. I forgot to ask about "Shaun" though, and if I would have thought I would have given him 'Spaced.'

Oh well.......I'll probably see him in a few years.
