Some Feel Good Movies....

(Recently watched for my pleasure:)

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie - Still good after all these years. God, I love being A Turtle! (I STILL think it's the most blatant attempt to make kids use bad language. ('DAMN' is just used so beautifully. "Ninja-kick the damn rabbit!")

Ghostbusters II - It can stand on it's own. It shouldn't be watched within a few months of Ghostbusters, though. --At least my mom recognized the music and knew it was Ghostbusters. When I told her it was the second one....she didn't know they made a 2nd one. I told her that she took me and my brother to see it when it came out. She must've slipped out to go see Steel Magnolias, b/c she didn't remember.-- You know, even though it was made 11 years BEFORE September 11th, 2001, it still has an eerie 'let's make New York come together' moment. Then, the very very last shot pulls up.......and there are the twin towers in the background. Kinda spooky and gave me the chills. But also made me happy b/c it's a fun movie.

Raiders Of The Lost Ark - "Asps.....very Dangerous. You go first."

Lemony Snicket's 'A Series Of Unfortunate Events' - I don't plan to read the books.....but I do hope there are MORE films soon.

If anyone owns/has copy of The Muppet Movie on DVD.....I would be glad to get a copy.

When DVDs first came out they made some.....and stopped. Same way with MST3K: The Movie and many other movies. Plus.....Netflix doesn't even have a copy available to send right away. I've actually got it 'saved' until it's available.
